Carlos works in TV with Nickelodeon as a Director and DP of “Big Time Rush”. He worked in a very successful Venezuelan film call “Doña Barbara”. He also worked in great short that is on the site and everybody should have seen by now call “La Nochebuena de Paco y Manolo”
He started as set designer and one of his first film was a Woody Allen film before moving to Director of Photography.
We talked about how to be smart when doing a short film in regards of locations, and lightning. We also discussed what formats are better depending on the project. Some times is better to shoot in HD, and sometimes if better to use film, even though that films is pretty much dead.
Carlos is now working on “Dali in 3D” and he talked about the challenges he will face while shooting in 3D.
